The sun beat down upon Mystique as she hurried down the street. She had a missio, she had a deadline, and she had a mark. However, to her disappointment, she could not act. Not now anyway. This little mission was simply for observation. a time to gather information. That was why she had bee the one sent to do it. Gathering information was one of her strong suites. One of the things she did best.
She made her way through the crowd, locks of her blond hair bouncing gracefully in unsion with her step. Her black sunglasses covering her eyes asd her long trench coat, that she never left the mansion without, made for the perfect disguise of a twenty some year old girl. her common features made her blend in. Neverthelss, her attitute made her stand out in a crowd. If you paid close enough attention, you would see that she was not commom at all.
As she made her way down the street to the desired cafe, she had her hands shoved deep into her pockets. This postitio, much as most of her clothing, was tight, closed off. It made her feel safer. No one could penetrate her when she was on the defensive. Now just happened to be on of those times. She was not looking for conversation, nor distractions. Simply her mark. She was there to observe, not act. That was what she kept telling herself over and over in her head. Hopefully, by the time she saw hiim, that little pice of information would have sunk in.
The cafe was in view now. Just a block or so away. As she made her way across the street, she was bumped into rather hard by a man stepping out of his cad. She turned quickly, shooting him a venamous glance. He on the other hand, was scanning her lean, fit body. She rolled her eyed in disgust and continued walking. Humans.
Opening the door to the cafe, she stepped inside. it took her eyes a moment to adjust to the newly found darkness. She stood there a moment, taking in the place and letting her eyes adjust. It was neccissary, for she refused to remove her sunglasses. When she was satisfied, she took a step forward, her boots making a clicking noise on the tile floor. Without hesitation, she slid inot one f the open bar stools, crossing her arms and resting them on the counter. She payed very little mind to whom she took her seat next to. Why should she have, after all, she was intent on having all her attention focused on her mark. That was the plan anyway. From where she was sitting, she could clearly see her mark. He was eating a waffle and coffee just as suspected.
She knew for a fact that her ark came to this cafe every morning for breakfast. Here, at this cafe, was the only place where one was sure to find him. Every morning he came at precisly at 7:00 a.m. and ordered a waffle and coffee, leavinf by 7:45. after that he made his way to work. Which meant that she had about 15 minutes where no one would question where he was. However, she knew she would have to catch him on his way to work. For she knew that if he did not show up at the cafe, his usualy waitress would know that something was wrong. Most likely resorting in her calling the authorities. Such a thing would not fit Mystique's plans in the lsightest. Although, once he was taken care of, what happened was not really a problem. Nevertheless, in her oppinion, it was sloppy. She concidered what she did an art, something to calculate carefully and not be underestimated. To leave evidence would be an insult to her personaly.
At that moment, she was approached by a bubbly waitress with a smile on her face. "Can i get you anything?" Her voice as cheerful as her smile. Obviously, the girl did not know of whom she was speaking. it was a good thing.
"No." Mystique said bluntly, taking a moment to look over her shoulder. She didn't think eating or drinking was an option in the slightest when on the jod. But she was in a cafe'therefore, it would have been suspicious for her not to order anything at all.
'Maybe just some coffe?" The waitress spoke again shooting Mystique a funny look.
Mystique looked back at her through her sunglasses. "Fine." She said forcing a half smile. Then. she watched the waitress walk away, bubbly as could be.
She wasn't in the mood to drink, but if it kept the waitress away, then that was fine with her. She was busy watching her mark through her sunglasses, when he looked in her direction. She moved her head slightly to keep suspicion away. It was not truly neccissary thogugh. Her dark sunglasses blocked anyone from viewing where her eyes were watching. She could have been looking him strait in the eyes and he would never have known.
It was at that moment that her attention was grabbed by the person sitting next to her. She turned her head to face them, her glance curriously surprised. It appeared as if they had said something to her, but she had been to far into thought to understand what they had originaly said.
"What?" She said it almost to herslef, rather shocked and annoyed that anyone in this cafe was attempting conversation with her. Surley no one in here had anything of interest to say. Or did they.......

Rei had no mark. She had no real obligation do do this, but she wanted to for her own reasons and it still counted as helping out Hexus. She needed to find out things. There was a possibility that certain members of the Brotherhood might actually be interested in joining the cause that HExus was working for. Mutants could live through an ice age, especially if they worked together, but Rei wasn't advertising, today was just to watch and keep an eye on one of the members that was higher up in the Brotherhood. She was curious, indeed. Technically, Reija had looked up information on the Brotherhood for a good cause, but it had turned into an all out exploration, and one in particular had peaked her interest, especially since she didn't seem to fit with the clash of misfits. Well, she fit, but not completely. Reija had found many things about her, but they weren't small things like with some of the others. She was curious, and instead of waiting around to be given something to do by Jason, who she could barely stand anyway, Reija had made it her own mission. She now had her mark! Finding the information had been the easiest part of this deal. IT was figuring out when the mutant was going to do this that Reija needed to know. She had figured out a timeline, to an extent and she had begun going to the cafe every day, watching for Mystique. Yes, it was hard because the woman was a shapeshifter, but Reija knew things that others might not. She knew how a fighter would hold themself and she knew other things as well...
The day that Reija actually had luck was coming, and she didn't even know it. It had been come a bit of a routine, though she wouldn't put much more effort if it didn't show some promise. She didn't really waste much time, though. She ate there, then again for her it was more of a small break, considering sometimes she had to move to different cafes that were in the chain she worked for. Anyway, that morning, Rei had been grumpy, which was never good, and she hadn't gotten a lot of time with her punching bag before she had gotten dressed and left. Her outfit today was a bit odd for her, as was everything about her, though she was still as surly and mean as ever. She always was, though. Her pants, black as always, but she had opted for a pink shirt instead of red or black, or even white, and she had stuck on a pair of black chucks before heading out. She didn't eat that morning, but half the time she didn't. Reija ate at work or whatever, it was easier. Today wasn't much different, but she wasn't going to work to eat, she was going to that damned dinner place, though she tended to use the word cafe. Her car was in great shape and she knew it ran well, it was her father's, though he had long since been gone. Those thoughts always pissed her off. She hated thinking about the past and it wasn't good for others either. Everything about the day was putting her in a foul mood and as Reija drove down the road, she had on her sunglasses, she didn't feel like dealing with anything, luck to the person that pissed her off today...
Mystique would probably end up the one, and not much longer after Rei had ordered her coffee and bagel, she caught sight of the shapeshifter! With Rei's luck today the woman should have sat far away, but she didn't know that and she had, unknowingly, seated herself next to the worst person. Reija grinned as she took a sip of her coffee, that shade of her lipstick getting on the mug, but not leaving her lips in any way. She watched the woman carefully. She had known right away. She wasn't a regular and she looked too out of place! This woman's strong point was not blending in, though she did look to be twenty-something. Mystique must have had a plan. She wasn't the type to go in blind and Rei didn't doubt that, though she was feeling rather playful at the moment. Watching the spectacle with the waitress, Reija couldn't help but be far too amused. She had lifted a leg and crossed them as she bit into the bagel with a smile, though it was more evil than anything else. Reija, unlike Mystique, had removed her sunglasses and her eyes shone with mirth as she watched. Yeah, the woman had a mark, it was obvious to Reija, but the young woman had also had enough of her own marks over time. She was even more amused when the woman turned away when her mark looked at her. Reija just couldn't pass this up, she wouldn't give up too much, but she could play a bit.
"You know that you're being a bit obvious, right?"
Reija had asked with a smart ass, evil grin upon her face. She couldn't help it. She was in such a bad mood earlier, but now she had a toy to take it out on! Crossing her arms a bit, Reija adjusted her stool to face Mystique, she was going to get through in this sense. She was going to bother the woman, she was going to study her. She was going to play with her new toy, though they wore out their usefullness and everything so quickly!

Mystique took a long hard look at the girl, before smirking. She was a mutant, no doubt about that. With an elemental power by the looks of things. Chances were, she was an artist like Mystique, as well. Meeting a fellow artist was always a pleasure for her. It usualy took one who was experienced to recognize the signs, or pinpoint exacly what the other was doing. It intreged her to a point that the two shared an interest. Who was this girl that thought she could critique how Mystique worked. She had been doing it far longer than this girl had been breathing. Hell, she had been doing it far longer than the girls grandparents had been breathing. Mystique was an expert at the art of search and destroy. Nothing was an accident and everything had a reason and a place. No more, no less.
She did not respond, she just watched her briefly, taking in a few facts about her. She had very feminine features and was wearing a rather girly shirt, but everything else about her screamed the exact opposite. And the way the girl was sitting, it was like looking into a mirror. Not all strong women sat that way, no. Just the confident ones. The ones that knew what they were talking about. Ones with experience. Any other day Mystique would have been intriged, perhaps even talkative. Which was definatly rare. However, today she was busy. There were things that she was looking out for, possibly even prepare for. It was not a day for distractions.
She looked away from the mysterious girl slowly, her body facing forward in it's original position. But only for a second, for her attention had been diverted once again by the approachment of the waitress. This time she carried with her the cup of unwanted coffee. Yet again, the waitress stood their for a moment, as if waiting for Mystique to speak. But when Mystique said nothing, not even accknowledging her presence, the waitress went back to her business. She was so cheerful, Mystique just rolled her eys. She lifted her cup, but she stopped it just in front of her lips.
"You know by thinking that your being a bit juvinille, right."
Her responce had been quick and playful with an obvious twinge of annoyance. After taking a small sip she placed it back down. She could still see her mark and she watched him discretly. In no way did she hide from the girl that she was following him, or that she wasn't what she was. What would have been the point in lying or denying it. Apparently, the girl already knew what she was doing. The worst thing that could have happend now was that they were after the same mark. And if in this girl miraculously got to him first, as long as she didn't do a bang up job, Mystique would not have minded sharring with a fellow artist. Not to much anyway. However, if that was the case, it wouldn't take long for her to wonder about this girls cause, not to mention her boss. If indeed she had one.

Reija knew who the other woman was, it wasn't only that she recognized things, it was also that she knew the signs to look for and whatnot. She was smarter than a lot of others, and like Miss Darkholme, Reija had a knack for hacking, though she could also do many other things considering she had actually gone to college for it. It didn't matter, though. Reija was just generally amused. A rookie might be able to spot what shewas doing at the moment. Mystique wasn't exactly trying to hide it and that was what made Reija's smile grow a bit more heated, and devious. Then again, that was her normal facial expression. Oh, Miss Filatov was more than confident, some might call her egotistical or many other things, but she knew she was good. She had started earlier than others. Reija had been the one to kill her own parents, though it had come with a price.... No one knew she had done it, though. It aws ruled accidental, few knew Rei was a mutant fromf iles or whatnot. She didn't register. She'd never been caught, so she wouldn't be in the computers, but she knew that Mystique could figure out she was in control of an element. She was far too confident and the otehr woman was old enough and experienced enough to know that type of thing.
The waitress, and most everything amused REi. She knew that it was because she could toy with every one of them and get away with it, or she could kill them all, whichever sparked her fancy. Many had though her crazy, though it wasn't that. She was sane, she just didn't fit into the molds that humans set, Mystique might understand her to an extent, but the woman wouldn't get to. Raven hadn't a chance because Reija knew where the woman's loyalties lay, but she could always give things a bit of a bump to see. Her smirk grew wider when Mystique spoke to her, she wasn't going to get that mark because if Rei had her way now, Mystique would be far too busy....and Reija planned on being that distraction...
"Juvenile, I think that everyone's a juvenile compared to you, right, Mystique?"
Reija threw that out purposefully. She knew well enough who the other was and she knew that her own identity was a secret. She wasn't going to be found either way. It amused her to no end and she found herself leaning her back against the counter, holding her coffee cup and taking a sip before she looked at Mystique, seriously and with no smirk. She'd casted her bait, time to watch the fish bite.

From across the room her mark glanced over to her. His face more currious about her than anything. But rather than looking away as before, she raised her hand slightly and gave a small wave. He responded by smiling a rather intereested smile. She smirked and looked away. She had made exactly the kind of move she wanted. He was interested in her now. Just what she wanted. However, she hed none in him what soever. He wasn't ugly, she had definatly seen worse. Nevertheless, he was a mark, not mention a human. That revolted her.
It was then that she heard the girl speak again. The phrase reverberated in her head a moment. She knew her name, atleast her preferred name. It was not entirly surprising. It might have been to some, but not her. Not much surprised her anymore. When one had been around as long as she had, or seen half as many things, one learned to expect the unexected. This fell under Mystique's list of unexpected phenominon.
Surley, the girl had done this to distract her, but from what? Mystique decided to let her curriosity get the best of her. It was to convienient a situation. It must a set up, either that or she being tailed. Either way, Mystique intended to find out. And if possible, level the playing field by finding out this girls name as well. Although, she doubted that. If this girl was half as wise as she thought or appeared to be, she wouldn;t give her name. Unless she was just that cocky.
Consequently, imediatly after she had made her contact with her mark, she twisted in her chair to face half face the girl. One hand remained on the counter, by her mug. But the other rested upon her crossed legs. Most of her attention was one her new found playmate, but she was still able to keep an eye on the man.
"So your a fan, is that it?"
She asked with the up most curriousity and cockyness. Her eyes were hidden behind her shades, but by her voice she was sure her mood was obvious..... Playfully concerned.

Her comment was an attention grabber and Reija knew it. She had planned on that. It was no surprise to the young woman that she had gotten attention. She had been watching that man as well for a few days, though. She knew his route to work, just in case. Then again, Reija was almost as good at Mystique, they were comparable, hell, they were fairly even. Then again, Reija had a bit of a boost seeing as her own name had not been divulged. She may have been cocky, but she wasn't stupid. She'd never be stupid. If she had to have a name, she'd use her codename. It tended to confuse...
She watched the man smiling. He flirted with the waitress everyday, to Reija it seemed he was a rather horny man or something of the sorts, but then again she was a rather pessimistic person all of the time. She didn't need to think about it. She didn't want to think about it. She didn't have him as a mark, Mystique did, and Mystique was Reija's concern. She didn't really care, though making Mystique miss her mark would be rather amusing.
She had the woman's attention, yes, but she didn't have it fully. She knew that Raven Darkholme wouldn't ever be deterred fully from her task, but Reija was sure as hell going to try and she was going to suceed on one way or another, she was no fool and she was better than most might think. She had killed her own parents, as a girl she hadn't had fear, and now as a woman she had turned out cocky, confident, and fearless. She didn't fear death and, in fact, she invited it and taunted it at times...
"Fan, I'd have to say no, rival...maybe."
Reija said with a smirk. She knew she could rival Mystique at times, but then again, she didn't have to prove that just yet. She just had to begin her games.

"Rival huh?"
She raised an eyebrow at her. Not completly believing her statment. It wouldn't have been the first time she had had a fan. Many had tried to follow in her foot steps, most wound up dead. She was a hard woman to keep up with. Even harder to fully understand. No one could match her thoughts, not even she was always fully aware of what was running through her head. It was all apart of her fabulous skills. She thought ahead, even now. In this tiny cafe with the most....interesting of company.
She was still rather skeptical. People had tried to worm their way into the Brotherhood through her before. It didn't work that way, though. Most of the time, Mystique was far more inclined to kill who the person than help them. The same went for those who tried to keep up with her. She would much rather take them right off a cliff than take them under her wing. Only the most advanced and worthy were given such an oppertunity. And even then, they had to earn it. But she dismissed her skeptical thoughts momentarily. She was going to get to the bottom of this. Maybe not today, but she would. The girl showed to signs of being a shapeshifter like herself. It should be rather simple to discover her identity. Even if the girl could cover her tracks, with the right tools, anything was possible.
"So your after the mark then?" She asked intreged. Nodding in the direction of the man.
Through the corner of her eye, she could see the man. He was glancing at her, trying his hardest to be discrete. Mystique's plans were already working, weather the girl knew it or not. If they were after the same mark, the girl was already behind. And Mystique....she had barley began, she was hardly even trying and the mark was practicaly comming to her. That was how experienced she was in matters such as these.

"Why, yes, you like a bit of good, healthy competition, no?"
Rei made that comment in a playful taunt. She didnt' need to always keep up with many thoughts. Reija knew that she could cover her tracks. She only had a few records, and those were only of birth and her schooling. They told nothing of any importance. She already knew that she was covered. She didn't need to worry, and she didn't need to really care. Mytique may have been the best, but Reija knew that she could rival the woman, and she didn't even really have to try that hard either. Then again, she didn't want to rival her, she just wanted to toy with her and find out a few things. She didn't want to be in the Brotherhood, she'd probably kill them all before she'd been there more than a night. Reija was in something better, something more descrete, and something that would eventually pay off more than anything else could.
She uncrossed her legs and recrossed them the opposite way with a confident smirk. She didn't want the mark Mystique was after, hell, if she'd wanted that she could have already had him dead. She could have choked him on the water he had been drinking earlier and it would have looked like an accident! No, Reija's mark was Mystique, though she didn't want her dead. She wanted information and she wanted to study the woman. Not in the way a pupil might, but in the way a predator studies their prey. She shook her head a bit at Mystique's words and sipped her coffee with an eerie smirk.
"No, I'm afraid I'm after something a bit bigger than a petty human. If wanted him, he'd be dead already."
To punctuate this, Reija glanced over at him and sent a smile. He sent it back, but soon began to cough and sputter. The amusement on Reija's face was almost malevolence embodied, but she dropped it to a more subtle grin as she watched the man's face begin to turn red. She didn't kill him, though. He coughed several more times before settling down and patting his chest. She had made her point, no?

"Why, yes, you like a bit of good, healthy competition, no?"
She smirked, looking about the room. "Healthy yes," Then she turned her head back to the girl and lowered her glasses only a bit so she could see her eyes. Not her real eyes of course. For most, it was either a treat or the marking of their death. This girl hadn't earned the right for the attention yet. SHe spoke her glasses downward still, "Im not so sure about good though, I haven't seen you work." Her mood was completly playful, as always.
At this she raised her glasses back up and turned her attention elseware as if nothing had occured. It was then that the waitress came back by to offer more coffee. Mystique had barely drunk any at all. She simply raised her eyebrow at the bubbly creature, until she continued on her way. Idiots.
She touched the cup of her mug, almost frowning. Then she began to run her finger over the top of it's smooth rim. Her eyes shifting to and from her mark. Around the edge she felt a small chip. Not enough to cut her, but enought of one to show just how much a hole in the wall place the cafe was.
Her company spke again, which proceded in the choking of the human. A this, Mystique frowned. The girl was cocky indeed. In her showing off, she had just given away her power. She could control liqued, or something of the sort. True her wrds were intreging. Mystique wondered what exactly what she was after. Nevertheless, all of that was beside the point.
When the girl was done torturing the man, Mystique looked back to her. "Do you have a purpose, or perhaps something of interest to say?"
She looked at her, her gaze fairly annoyed and very bored. She was allowing herself to deviate from what she had origianly planed. But, then again, today had only been to gather information. If that was the reason the girl was here, maybe Mystique could find a use for her instead of the man. He could come another day. That is, if the girl had something to say that would strike her interest. Otherwise, she would have ben tempted to leave. She was a busy woman, with little time to wasite. Especially in hole in the wall cafes.

"Your attitude is too superior for you own good, Raven. You dont' see my work because I don't parade about and I don't show off that often."
Reija didn't show off often, she was quicker to resort to physical violence. Then again she was also far more than she seemed. IT wasn't only liquid, Msytique only knew a little bit of what Reija could do, that was a very small demonstration that she had given, though she was already getting a bit miffed with the fact that Mystique was so careless. She wasn't paying attention to Rei, but then again she didnt' realize how dangerous Rei was. She had a purpose and she did want to make it clear, but she would always rather toy with someone. A grin appeared on her face and she leand against the side of the counter on her right side eying Mystique.
"Maybe I do maybe I don't, but if you wish to remain with that attitude, you're not going to find out anything are you?"
Reija teased as she wetted her lips a bit before smirking. She was studying Mystique, but then again she as also working on other things. She was going to see if the woman would be in anyway interested with HExus, though she doubted it. She wasn't stupid. Reija was a great mind, and great minds always helped toy with others.

"Oh, really?" She said with a hint of sarcasim. "I don't even know your name yet and you have already strangled someone." She spoke as she dipped her finger that had been carressing the rim of the cup into the beverage. She lifted it to her lips and bit her finger a momentbefore removing and placing it back to the counter. "I'd call that showing off." She smirked as she looked to her.
She had chosen to ignore the use of 'Raven.' But that didn't mean that is went unnoticed. Obviously, the girl wanted her attention. She debated on giving it to her. She thought over the fact the this girl had obviously done her homework. But how much did she really know? And more importantly, how much was she willing to give away?
Again, the girl made an attempt at conversation. It was a teasing responce to Mystique's rather harsh words. But that was how she was. People either delt with it or they left her alone. She preferred that they took the secod route. She worked alone, she spent most of her time alone. Solitute was her best friend. And unlike most, she knew she kne why. When you were alone, there are no distraction, compliactions, or outside influences. The perfect workinging enviroment. Unlike now, which contained all three. So excuse her for being harsh. She had every reason to, her job was being affected by this girl. Not enough to truly get under Mystique's skin, she had a tough hide. And at the moment, she was on the defensive. No one could penetrate her when she was on the defensive. However, she did decide to throw the girl a bone.
She looked to her a bit more interested now. "And what makes you think you have anything I want to know?"

"I didn't strangle him, there's a difference between strangling and him choking."
Reija commented with a grin. She didn't really want the attention, but who could resist it that much. She really wanted to find out a few things, but then again she could continue to toy with Mystique. It was so much fun. She was enjoying it, yes, but then again she didn't have a big purpose with this. Reija wasn't willing to give anything away, though. She didn't plan on it at all! She wasn't even going to give her name if she could help it. She did have a few things that she could talk about with RAven, though. The cure wasn't out yet, but she knew they were working on it, it wasn't going public for some time. Reija figured to share the information with one from the brotherhood so that she could make sure there was a distraction from Hexus activities, it was an easy manipulation, though she wasn't giving information easily.
"Oh, just the fact that I happen to know things that a certain brotherhood would find useful."
Reija knew this was great. She wasn't giving anything out yet. She still hadn't given her name. Hell, Reija was still toying with Mystique, she didn't really care about the brotherhood, but she could act as if she were for the sake of this, though.

"Whatever you say doll."
She rolled her eyes as she spoke, looking back to her coffee. Or atleast it appeard that way. Her true attention was on her mark. Just where it had been all the entire time. Doubt full that anyone knew though. Her glasses conceiled where her eyes were watching. Even up close.
Mystique sighed, they both knew that the girl was showing off. But why? That was what had Mystique currious. That among other things.
She huffed and let out a small laugh. She looked to her, giving her an uncarring glance.
"Hunny, I doubt you have any thing to say to me that the Brotherhood doesn't already know about."
She winked, playful, but degrading noontheless. She leaned back in her chair. Adjusting her possition. Completly unaffected by her words. If she wanted something from Mystique, and it appeared that she did, she would have to try so much harder than that. People gave her tips everyday. What made this girl so speacil, nothing. Nothing that she knew about anyway.

"Hm, you're not interesting me as much as you once did...."
Reija wasn't having as much fun now, though she knew for a fact that what she had to say was much more useful than Mystique knew. There was no way that she was going to get it now. Then again, Reija wasn't thinking that Mystique and the brotherhood would be as useful for the moment. She'd wait and find this out for herself for the moment, though.
"Funny because I believe that you could use this, but I'm quickly thinking that the Brotherhood is all talk now. Oh, well."
Reija meant it too, though Mystique didn't know that. She knew that the Brotherhood wouldn't attempt to melt the ice caps or anything so dangerous. Hell, Reija loved tempting the fates, she had no reason to live.... She could irk Mystique more if she had the chance, but she was tiring of the woman quickly.
"That man, your mark, he's got at least three others after him."
She knew the others, she knew many things, but then again she was quite dangerous just by herself. She knew far too much and Reija was truely horrible at times, though she had a heart... Then again, things weren't really always simple.

"Hm, you're not interesting me as much as you once did...."
Those were not words that Mystique heard often. She was mysterious, which in most peoples eyes was interesting in itself. Therefore, she turned to the girl and half smiled.
"How so?"
Not at she was really interested in what this girl thought, but she was intreged. This girl was very unussual. She was interested in her one moment, then totaly put off the next. Biopolar almost. it humored her. it also humred her that she brought up the brotherhood. She was pulling out every thing she had. First, the use of her code name, followed by Raven, now the Brotherhood. The only thing she ahdn't said was her own name. It made Mystique currious.....What was she after?....
"Funny because I believe that you could use this, but I'm quickly thinking that the Brotherhood is all talk now. Oh, well."
SHe laughed under her breath. She could think all she wished to. It wouldn't change what was. Mystique considered herslf connected to the Brotherhood in a way. Which meant that if it was all talk, then she was all talk. If she was anything, it wasn't that.
She smirked at the girl, now taking the chance to lean forward. Resting her elbows on her knees. "Why dont you tell me what you know and i'll tell you if we could use it."
She awaited her answer with tauntingly cheerful eyes. Mystique could play her game. Games were what she did best. She was also good at disguising her emotion. Because of it, she ofter changed her mood like a light. On the outside, she could have been fine, but on the inside she could have been rapidly changing. Basicaly, just because she hadn't shown her raw, mean side, didn't mean that she didn't have one. Maybe that was the kind of interest that this girl wanted to see. And if she wasn't carefull, she just may.....
"That man, your mark, he's got at least three others after him."
She laughed, leaning back up in her seat. "I hope thats not all you know. Because if so, Im affraid you've waisted your time comming here."
Of course Mystique knew that there were other people after him. it was none of her concern though. She wasn't out to get money off it. She was simply out to kill him. Nothing else mattered as long as he wound up dead. Along with the things he stood for.
She turned her head forward, but her body remained facing the girl. She was telling that she was listening. That now was her chance to spill what she knew. It was the only was either of them would get what they were after.
