Yes...Aurora did hate shopping alone. When one shopped, they should have had someone with them to give honest opinions on what you were thinking of buying, so you don't come out looking like a total dweeb.
However, no one had been available to go shopping with Aurora on this cool, windy, overcast Saturday, so she was driving to the mall to go shopping alone.
Her black hair was pulled back in a tight ponytail that was currently being whipped fiercely by the autumn wind. Her blue eues were hidden by small, round sunglasses that had pitch-black lenses. Her leather jacket covered the fact that she was wearing a vintage Beatles t-Shirt, and her jeans hugged her rear firmly. Her knee-high leather boots, that laced from the ankle to the top, peeked out from her pants legs.
The jeans had random chains, and were studded around the pockets and cuffs. They were Aurora's closet freak pants. She grinned at the thought as she parked her motorcycle, and dismounted it. She slid the keys in her pocket and headed for the atrium of the mall.
She wasn't sure where she wanted to go first, so the atrium in the center would be the best place to start. As she walked in, she put her sunglasses on the top of her head. Turning, she decided to go clothes shopping first. She only bought a few things, and then she headed to get a littl trim, because her hair was getting kind of long.
After she got her hair trimmed, she went and bought some new make-up, applying just enough to look decent. Then, she made her way to the book store, not expecting to bump into anyone interesting on the Jane Austen aisle...

Logan had no idea why he was standing on the Jane Austen aisle of the book store, staring at the cover of Pride and Prejudice without seeing it. It was that he was avoiding this one young lady that worked there, who always stared at him from the counter. The only aisle where she'd never think to look towards for someone as masculine as him would be Jane Austen.
Suddenly, he caught a familliar smell. It was the natural scent of a woman, mixed with autumn air, a hint of evergreen trees, and a subtle perfume. He knew that he knew that smell, it was so familliar. Then, he got a flash in his mind. Aurora...the woman who'd brainwashed him for the Weapon-X program, and who'd also helped the Director escape when the program came crashing down around his ears.
Logan wanted to growl, and unsheathe his claws, but when he looked out of the corner of his eye, the woman looked much too young to be Aurora. She looked to be only seventeen. Then it hit Logan...something could have happened to reverse the aging process on her body, becuase he couldn't mistake that smell, ever.
"Hello Aurora, it's been a while since you screwed me over. Have you changed any? I know I have." He fixed her with a steady gaze, daring her to deny the wrongs she did to him.

Aurora was a little shocked at Logan's behavior, but not much. He must have been in a bad mood already before she showed up. It didn't help that she'd brainwashed him. Would she apologize for it? No....Jeanne-Marie might have, but Aurora wouldn't apologize. It wasn't like her to apologize much, especially for something that seemed so far in the past now.
"I've changed in some ways, as you can see, but in others, I'm still the same. I dumped off the Director after I helped him escape, and I've picked up with the Brotherhood since then. I heard you became an X-Man. We always seem to be at odds."
She tilted her head and looked at him for a moment, before she grabbed a copy of Pride and Prejudice, flipping through it and seeing if it seemed interesting. She opened it to a vehement argument, and that decided it for her. She wanted the book. She eyed Logan carefully, wondering just what was going to happen between them. He seemed in a violent mood today, and she'd been looking for a fight for a while...
