Mornings were all alike weren't they? They were always slow and they always tried to drag on, right? Reija seemed to think so, she had always hated mornings, though she got up at godawful times. Every morning she got up early, though sometimes she got up earlier when the others in the house decided to piss her off! Anyway, the mornings were a routine. When Rei had to work at the Cafe, which was quite often, she got up around five and instead of running she worked down in the weight room. She had a punching bag down there. She got to practice her martial arts in a way, though a sparring partner would be better, a person couldn't take that sort of beating. Reija knew it, that was why she only teased about getting a sparring partner, she wouldn't hurt someone like that unless they deserved it. Jason was one of those people, though at times she wanted to knock Oliver's teeth down his throat. Anyway, the alarm clock had seemed louder this morning. It had cut through the air in a painful sounding trill and Reija knew that today wouldn't be the best that it could. That morning seemed to go slower than others after that, but then again... Reija didn't mind. She enjoyed kicking and punching the hell out of the punching bag before she actually had to get ready. Everything was so routine, though Reija knew that the other day of relaxing out in the pool had helped her....
After some breakfast, which was grabbing a granola bar, and a shower, Rei really began to get readly. Her body was slim and she knew what looked good on her. The woman found pleasure in making others uncomfortable and toying with them. She made fun of pissing others off and things of the sort. She got her jollies from it much of the time. Then again, it was a bad habbit, she had developed it in a really bad way. She hadn't been that way, to this extent, before she had lost her family, though she could name two, mom and dad, who weren't much of a loss. She only regretted loosing Kaija, she couldn't post missing things for the girl, though. Rei wasn't in trouble with the law yet, but it was still dangerous. She couldn't afford to go after Kaija, her parents' deaths had been ruled an accident, but it wasn't. Reija knew what had happened. She remembered, but she wished she didn't. Standing there in a towel, Reija didn't know why she had been thinking about her sister. She missed the girl. She could remember everything about the girl! If only she had a way to find her. She didn't know of any way... she had always kept and eye out for Kaija, but she hadn't found her and she really couldn't find anything; there weren't many who could hack as well as Reija at times. She was trained enough to know many different things! Then again... those weren't the things to think about. She had a long day in front of her! Her body, clad in the towel, was the thing to worry about. She had to wear clothes to work in! She wasted no time in grabbing a skirt, though she only wore them from time to time, that was rather long and her color, black. She had already been wearing whatever else she needed. She slipped on her chosen skirt and then found a crimson hued thick strapped tank top. That would work for the day. She wasn't dumb, though, she grabbed a black, small sweater and slipped it on over before she found some of her shoes. Now she had to remember who was working today... Rei knew that James was supposed to open up, but she knew that he also would skirt out of there. She would be the only one in until later! Shit! She'd have to serve the coffee and take in repairs as well as making sure that all of the other computers were running. Not many people realized that they sold baked goods and coffee. There weren't many tables that didn't have computers on them, but not many realized what the place was for! Reija had always known and she found it amusing. She could probably get away with sitting there and drinking coffee for quite a bit. Those thoughts ran through her head as she ran a brush through her hair and then ran her fingers through it a bit carelessly. Now, she was almost ready to go. She just put on some make-up, though the only thing that anyone would really see would be that she wore a rather bold shade of red lipstick, though for her it didn't look bad.
She was done at the house and she didn't need to worry. Grabbing her satchel, Rei found her keys and slipped her cell frojm its charger and into the same satchel, which held many different things, though she didn't really care too much. The only things she had with her would be for her other job. She didn't really want to work on anything at all. She figured today would be slow... Slipping on her backless, converse looking shoes, Rei made her way out of the house and down to her black GTO. That was the car that had belonged to her father, she had kept it and it still ran, though she had to fix it a few times, yeah. Rei knew a few mechanics and she had learned more than one thing over her years, she wasn't old, but she learned quickly. The car ran well now and she had no problem with it. IT didn't take her that long to get to the mall, which was where she was working today. They switched her around quite a bit, but it paid quite well. She couldn't complain... she wanted to have money and she wanted the different things that allowed her to have her life. She made money and it all helped her get along, and look for her sister... She didn't like parking this car out where people could screw with it, but if someone did they'd be in a lot of trouble. Rei had drowned people for less than keying her car, or things of the sort. She tried not to think about that, though she did park her key asw near to doors as she could. She wanted to make sure that people could see if it happened. Rei didn't go in through the front, too many people. She came in through the back, and it was already unlocked. She knew James had opened the place up, he was the Manager, and he was waiting on her. She stashed her stuff in the back and came out through the front, catching site of James, who had put on a coffee pot. She waved at him a bit as she stepped up to the counter and leaned against it.
"You know you're working alone until your lunch, right?"
"Yeah, James, I know that."
"You can handle serving people and everything for now, right?"
"Yes, James-"
Reija and James both looked at the young woman that had entered the room. Reija couldn't help but feel something int he back of her head about the girl, she looked a bit like Rei, but she pushed it away. She couldn't stare.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, go. I'm not fucking incapable."
"Watch it, Rei."
"Yeah, yeah."
Rei said as she got him to leave her. He headed to the back, leaving the keys on the counter, and Rei grabbed a mug and poured coffee into it before taking a sip of the black liquid. She was giving the girl looks and watching her, but not for any bad reasons. She couldn't help but think of the sijmilarities between the girl she had once called sister and the girl that had just walked in. Sure, things would change, but so many things reminded Rei of her.... She couldn't help but be hopeful, but she tried to push it away for now. Leaning on the counter with her elbows, Rei sipped her coffee a bit more watching the computers all run...
"Hey, do you want a cup of coffee or something?"
Rei shot at the girl without thinking. If said girl did Rei wouldn't charge her. IT wasn't as if it was good coffee anyway. It was okay, but James wasn't the best. She didn't mind anyway. IT wasn't too bad. Coffee was coffee. Reija really wanted to see who this girl was, though Reija, being a young woman, didn't wear a nametag or anything... It was curiosity that made her do it, which could lead to bad things, but then again.... maybe it was REi's need to constantly toy with people.... One could never know.
