Her foot connected with his jaw sending him hurdling towards the ground. His head smacking against the pavement, his body almost limp with defeat.
“Why can’t you just tell me what I want to know,” She brought her leg back down to her side and crouched next to him. She tilted her head to the side in a mocking manor. Her hand cupped around his face, forcing him to face her. “Then all this could be over.” Her tone was soft and quiet. Although even in this manor, she never lost her venom. He would tell her what she wanted to know and she would kill him, it was his choice how he went.
His eyes swollen from her blows, fluttered open. “Go to hell.” He managed to choke as he spat blood at her shoes. The hand that was cupping his face was quick to use her nails to claw four new scratches to his cheek. He winced in pain, still attempting to work up the strength to move. Her eyes diverted from him, a twisted smirk crossing her deadly lips. “Been there, done that. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be.” As she spoke ever so tauntingly her hands removed a vile, filled with poison, from her hidden pocket. She used a needle to suck the liquid from the tube. Squeezing the handle, the liquid spewed slightly. She reached for his arm and he jerked away. On reflex she backhanded him. His head relaxed against the pavement. He was acting as if he had given up; however, his hopeful eyes were locked on the people and cars that were just out of reach, just outside the alley. Although, they might as well have been a million miles away. If they hadn’t heard his screams before, there was no way they would hear his whispers now.
“I will say this though,” She commented reaching for his arm once again. He barley struggled. “It is better to find out for oneself.” The needle penetrated his skin and his entire body went ridged. A muffled whimper left his busted lips. “Shh…” she said, stroking her hand threw his hair. “It’s okay,” She whispered. “death isn’t so bad, or at least it doesn’t have to be…” Her eyes were soft with a mothers touch, a deadly deception.
“What…what are you doing to me…?” He whispered.
When the poison had been emptied into his veins, she removed the needle and wiped it clean. Taking her time in explaining in detail exactly what he would feel, she put the needle away. “I’m killing you.” She stated flatly before continuing on. “Well first, the toxins will invade your blood system. It’s designed to target the heart last, so we’ve got time to talk. Slowly, it is going to shut down your internal organs. Your lugs will collapse first, causing your breaths to quicken in an attempt to breath. Followed by sweaty palms and loss of vision. It will hurt.”
She watched him squirm ever so slightly. It was obvious that he was experiencing everything that she was saying. The concoction she was using was of her own creation. It was a specialized venom. One she used for torture. Eventually they gave in to what she was after to get her take the pain away. The last noise her victims ever heard was the blessed click of the trigger.
“But I can take the pain away.” She comforted him. “Just tell me what I want to know ad it will all go away.”
He forced a very painful breath, giving in to her subtle command. “4...7…9… 3….”
“Yes?” She encouraged. All she needed was one more number, the last number of the code.
“6” He stammered.
A smirk crossed her face as she pulled her silenced weapon from her beneath her pants leg. “Now that wasn’t so hard was it?”
His breaths came in quicker gasps, he would still be far from death if it was left up to the poison. She lifted the gun inches from his forehead; however, he could not see it through his blurred vision. “What’s the magic word?”
She knew he was telling the truth, because if he wasn't his wife and children would suffer the same fait he was suffering now. However, they would not be given the option of a bullet.
“Please…” formed on his lips but no words escaped. It would be the last thing that he attempted to say.
The silenced sound of the gun was no louder than that of a cough. Placing two of her fingers to her venom glossed lips, she kissed them lightly. Afterwards, gently placing them to his lips. It was her trademark. She stood, slipping her gun back into it’s concealed place and exited the alley.
Across the street her presence was awaited. It was awaited by what she now considered her ally. At least for the time being. She quickly made her way over to the vehicle. She slipped in the passenger door, not speaking until she was seated and settled inside.
“I got the code.” She said flatly as if it had been a simple chore like buying a loaf of bread. In truth, it had been a simple task, at least more simple than some. Killing to get what she wanted was in no way out of the ordinary for her. Turning her head to face the driver a small smirk crawled across her face.

Few people knew what it was like to work with Rei, she was a very difficult person to work with. Reija had a rather murderous personality and her last unaccustomed partner had learned that the hardest way possible. Benjamin had made the horrible mistake of straying from Rei's plan, and actually laying a hand on Reija when he knew she was trying to gather info and do something. He had had the audacity to even touch her, which was only putting himself in danger later on. The moron hadn't taken into account that Reija could kill him from miles away if she so wished to. REija was a very murderous human being. She had killed her parents, though she had found some things out lately. The computer skills that she had only helped her futher on in many of her goals and her information resources. She was able to find out several key pieces to both her own life and useful information to Hexus.
Reija was much of the power behind Hexus. Jason was too young to really run the organization. Reija was the one to, pretty much, lead many of the activities of Hexus. She was one of the oldest in Hexus, as far as she was concerned. There were few that Rei didn't outweigh in every sense of the word. She was trained in many different varieties of martial arts, she had complete control of herself and her power, and Reija was intelligent enough to pull off whatever she wanted. She was working with someone she didn't fully trust, yet, though. She hadn't worked with Viper before, but she was better than many of the other minions, so Reija didn't really care too much. Maybe she'd have another possible equal in some way. Camine, Oliver, and JAson all had Rei's respect and partnership for whatever. Viper could earn it. She was proving herself well enough.
She was the driver in this mission. Why, who the hell knows? Reija could have killed the man for the code too, but she did have very little patience. She still could have gotten it. Viper had the chance to prove herself, though. This was useful for her. REija could figure out a few things while the other woman got the code, which was certainly going to go right to Mystique, well, at one point it would go to Mystique. There were known risks, and whatnot, but then again, REija feared nothing, really.... She had done better alone.
The car Reija had driven for this was a darkened silver shade, and it was a rather old, classic model. The interior was extremely comfortable, and Reija had been leaning back in the driver's seat, with the engine running with her foot ready to move at any notice. She was waiting for a reason, though she'd have quite a bit of fun if the woman failed. Reija just loved to be devious and everything, but then again.... this was quite important, really. Reija's bare arms were visible and a bit luminous from the bit of inorganic light coming from the lamp posts and whatnot. REija waswn't exactly anxious, she just wanted to see if Viper would fail. REija was a rather pessimistic person, and it didn't seem that was going to change.
The darkened brunette locks that REi had were closer to ebony than anything, and they were curling slightly around her face. She didn't enjoy waiting, but this was important for everything here. REija lifted one of her legs and sat on it comfortably, leaving the other down for when she needed to drive. HEr pants were a rather dark jean hue, which was odd for her, but either way, sometimes she had to seem less obvious on missions. She could move very easily in anything, though. That wasn't a problem with her. She had her ways.
The sight of Viper caused Rei to place her foot on the brake and shift the vehicle out of park, waiting for her to get in. ONce she was, REija moved her foot off of the brake and pulled out of the place she had once been parked in. She felt the water collected in the gutter above the body that Viper had left there. She didn't seem to think she'd be caught, but to be sure, REi guided the water harshly enough to pull down the gutter and make it look as if he had been killed in that manner. IT was easy enough and Rei had her eyes on the road and her hands on the wheel the whole time. The smirk caught Rei right away and she just sent it back.
"Don't sound so excited."
Rei shot back sarcastically at the other woman with a grin. She wasn't superior to this woman, they were much more like equals. Reija didn't have to worry about Viper, so far. She wasn't sure how long that would last, it was hard to keep Rei's trust, but it wasn't that bad, really. There was still more to come, at least Viper was getting the pleasure of working with someone who was quite strong. Reija was a murderer in many essences of the word. She was really quite cocky and stubborn. Either way....there was much more to go.
"You going to spill the code or am I supposed to get it from you now?"

The car she had stepped into was rather beautiful with it's silver exterior. Although, Viper would have preferred something faster and maybe even green. However, this car would certainly do. She made herself comftorable, they still had much they needed to take care of.
Rei spoke as Viper reached for her sunglasses from the glove compartment. She slipped them over her eyes before repsonding.
"You'll have to excuse my enthusiasm..."
She retorted very sarcastically a smirk crossing her face. This was not something new for her in any way. It wasn't really something to be excited about either. After the first few hundred times, killing lost it's effect for the most part. Don't get me wrong, killing thrilled her deep into her core. She was just never one to be giddy over much. Especcially not some childish job. Viper was so much better than that. Her years and experience alone instantly placed her at the top of Hexus. Viper had this lovely habit of controlling everything she encountered. She was a wonderful leader and people recognized it on the spot. People submitted to her orders with little hesitation. Whether it was out of fear or they trusted her to make the right decision was something she did not concern herself with. It made it easy for her to climb the ladder of success. And if she was betrayed, it was the last thing they would ever do. She had been betrayed before, only one still consumed oxygen. The only reason for that in any way shape or form was the fact that she had made a pact with an old friend, long, long, ago.
Trust was another factor, she trusted no one. Respect was about as close as anyone would ever get. Her standards were very high. The leader of this Hexus held it to an extent. He had organized some very powerful mutants and managed to control them, too. He looked very young; however, looks could be decieving. She looked like nothing more than a twenty some-odd year old girl with glossed lips and a fancy for green. Yet here she sat, a goddess. Green was her power color and the poison was her trade mark. And those glossy, tempting lips could provide the best, most intoxicating kiss there ever was. Until the venom caught your tounge and your entire body ate itself from the inside out.
"I'll give it to you now, just remember to transfer it into the files when you get the chance."
Viper knew that this little outing was in a sense, a test. She found the entire thing ridiculous! She was the ruler of entire civilizations in her past, she was bloody infamous! Although, that was probably what made her such a threat. Her experience, knowledge and ability to manipulate people, especially men.
A slow, devious smile slid smoothly across her lips at that thought. Yes, she had a talent for enrapturing men with her feminine wiles, and making them do as she pleased. Well, most men. There was one who would never fall down at her feet unless she poisoned him, and even then it would be hard to do much because of his healing factor. He was different from the rest, and it managed to piss her off and attract her at the same time. HE was a real challenge.
She could sense that Reija was a little pissy at having to be the driver, and it made her smile. The girl was feisty, that was for sure. In fact, Viper had recognised her on the spot when they first met, and knew that Reija is what the Wolverine would call her "spawn."
Yes, Viper was Reija's real mother, but she didn't intend to tell the girl until she knew that she was worthy of the knowledge that she was her daughter. Viper smirked acidly at the memory of Reija's real father, Anton Filatov. He had been her lover, once, and he had betrayed her. He payed for that mistake with his life. At the time, Viper did not have the ability to care for a child, so she'd put her in a public home, and had gone on about her buisness of being a villain and trying to kill Captain America.
How Anton had betrayed her had been insulting, really. He'd given her whereabouts to Captain America after he'd slept with her and gotten her pregnant. He died painfully. The memory brought a pleased smile to her face as she looked over at her daughter, wondering just what the girl was really like, what she could really do, given the opportunity for...fun.

If only Viper knew what Rei's actual cars looked like. This was a car she used on jobs a lot of the time. It was used for that because of the speed and the fact that Reija had put the engine together herself. She had multiple talents. Anyway, Rei's cars were differents shades of green, her favorite car was her GTO, which was painted a dark forest green. She wished she could be in that car, which was always going to be her favorite. Her breath came in boredly as she sped past a few blocks, not bothering at a red light because no one was around.
"I'm working on that. It's just so hard to keep the professional facade with you acting like a fangirl of sorts."
Rei could throw sarcasm around with the best of the best. She wasn't all talk in any way, shape, or form. She knew she wasn't a pushover and she knew that she was probably much more deadly than Jason could ever be. That was the main reason she helped him lead, secretly for the most part. She was pretty much the brains behind the whole operation. She knew that right away when she had joined. There was much more to it than her just being a bitchy, controling egomaniac. She was all of that and for a reason. She had to be sure of herself in her line of work. The woman couldn't let her guard down.
She was the one with the real control. She knew it, but most others didn't realize it. She only lead everything surrepticiously. Reija had been doing things in the worst way possible since she was young. She barely remembered being in the damned foster home. She didn't realize that she was adopted until she had found the paperwork recently. She knew that much. She didn't remember, really. She just found things. That was all. The young woman was a genius in many different ways.
Reija only trusted a few people, and even then she didn't trust them fully. She did trust Oliver, Camine, and Jason. If Sofia were around that young girl would have her trust too, but Reija hadn't been able to find head no hide of the girl since she had killed their 'parents' so many years ago. The girl was uncaring, cold, and stoic. She had a killing instinct. She wasn't one to be toyed with. She was as bad, if not worse, than Viper herself. It seems that traits carried over, though REija didn't know. She didn't even trust that woman as of yet. Hell, she thought the woman was younger than her,t hough she hadn't finished finiding her viles as of yet. She wouldn't give up on that, though. She'd have the information that she wanted pretty damned soon. HEr computers were still running back at her room in the mansion. Reija's eyes peered away from the road and she quirked a brow, giving Viper a look that clearly said she was stupid.
"I never forget anything when it's important."
It was true, though then again, she had forgotten her real family, her real mother, but she was too young to really remember. See, the thing to know is that, Reija was a very vengeful and bad person at times, completely passionate, but there was much more to it. She didn't hold guilt other than towards her younger sister, which was really the only thing that kept her glued to doing something and living.
If Viper was famous she was good at hiding it because REija didn't know her and she didn't know if she trusted her as of yet. Though, the woman was as good as Rei herself. That had to be admitted. She couldn't deny it at the moment. A sigh escaped her lips as she sped through a light as it was turning yellow, with a smirk on her face. She had raced right past a cop, which caused the man to flip on the siren and lights, chasing after Rei.
Good thing she had several aliases and everything. She gave off a chuckle and shook her head as she drove further before pulling over.
"Looks like we're going to have a bit of a stop for some fun before we continue this."
Rei said pulling her leg out from under her and settling into a better position for driving. She had her seatbelt on and everything. This was just Rei's way of toying with people. She even slid out her license, which was under an alias saying Brooke Davie, and registration. Hah...Bring on the fun. Reija was more than ready for this. The cop had put his vehicle into park, as had Rei, and he had gotten out and gone to Rei's window, which she automatically rolled down and peered at the officer.
"License and registration, Ma'am."
REi chuckled and smirked as she turned towards the officer, making sure that she still had enough skin showing. Her arms rested on the door and the steering wheel as she gave her face a rather pouty look.
"Is there a problem, officer?"
She asked rather innocently as she handed him the items. This was going to be fun. She was already churning the water in his body, toying with him. HE was sweating and she knew, she had him in her grasp. It didn't hurt to toy before continuing with their mission of the moment.
