Ever since her surprise encounter a fe wdays back, Mystique had had one more thing on the top of her list of things to investigate, Nymph and her proposition. She had every intention to find out exactly what she was dealing with before she got to involved.
Now, Nymph may not have had a record, she may have been squeaky clean. However, the car she had been driving was anything but. The car had been spotted, many places. Places that led her to names. So far the names had led her no where. Mystique did not louse hope though. There was always a trail, always something to find. You just had to know where to dig. Eventually, you would strike gold, or in her case, a diamond. Amongst her batch of useless names there was one that held promise. One that caught her attention. And although she did not know it yet, it was a name that was of the utter most imporatance and potential. Jason Cameron.
By his picture, it was apparent that he was attractive. It was a simple shot. One she had recieeed from a source that had been tailing him for her. She had arranged it to where the tiny details had been taken care of for her. However, she preferred to do the dirty work herself.
This time, she was the one with the vehicle, one that was not her own or anyone elses from the Brotherhood of course. Although, after this meeting was over, she doubted very much that it would matter in the slightest. She was parked a ways away, the top down and the windows down. SHe was under the disguise of her favorite alias. A miss Raven Darkholme watched her surrounds threw failry large black sunglasses. Her piercing blue eyes never missing a beat and locks of her dark hair covering her cheeks, that had been turned pink form the the cool wind. With the acception of the chilling breaze, it was a warm day.
Her attire was fitting for both the weather and the occasion. it consisted of a womans rather tight business suit. It was very becoming, showing just enough leg to show how shapley she was, but covering enough to still hold the classy appearence. It was a cream skirt and matching jacket, under was a black shirt. Her healed shoes where black as well. She looked as if she were going to a business meeting, which in a way, she was. Even if he didn't know it.
Her hand carresed her thigh a bit out of boredum and partialy analizing the creamy skin. Even though she had seen it a thousand times before, it was still such a change from the blue. SHe sighed to herself, he had to be comming by here at some point, either that or she had been given false information. If that was the case, then heads would roll. She decided to give it a few moments more. This person was worth waiting for.
She stole a quick glance to across the street. There. It was him. A smirk crawled across her face at his precence. Good, she had not been given false information. Good for them at least.
She slid the keys of the dark blue corvette into the ignition and it purred. A satisfied smirk widened across her face. Pulling out of where she had been parked, she noticed that he had been trying to hail a cab. Perfect. Now she could pick him up easy enough. She manovered the car to the side where he had been standing. Slowing to a stop, she turned to face him.
"Need a ride?" SHe asked.
It was very unsuspicious, well as unsuspicious as a beautiful young woman picking up a total stanger could have been.

Jason had been dropped off at the Arcade, not because he wanted to, not because he enjoyed playing games, he wasnt fond of games at all, in fact the infuriated him. He hated playing games with anyone, hated being tricked, he would often melt every and any board game that would be left unattended in the hide out. Blink had worn this into him, games are meant to trick the stupid people, not like you and me. Dont ever play games Jason, they can only cause harm. She was only nine at the time and Jason never able to comprehend her reasoning for it but understood it full and well. He had been at the aracade to scout for a new mutant that he was told appeared at the arcades and short sircuted the equiptment. Electricity was vital to the humans, he could use this, though he had gotten the tip from Blink, his sister, he wasnt quiet sure she would be reliable.
Years had passed since their mother's death, since Blink had 'forgotten' to tell Jason that their mother was dying, since Jason had trusted his sister. Ever since then Jason and Blink never saw eye to eye on anything, she would often send him on wild goose hunts in search of these unbelievably powerful mutants to help his cause. You'd think that man would have learned after the first fifteen times but on that rare occation he didnt show up to scout for a new member it would turn out that it was true, and that said mutant would end up joining the X-men or god forbid the Brotherhood. Blink was tricky that way, she and Beau often drove him insane with these mutant searches. They would give him the location, but never a discription of the mutant.
He heard his cell phone ring, miraculously as he stepped outside the arcade. He saw a name blink on and off the screen quickly, he frowned his brow furrowed answering in an annoyed tone.
"Blink you're a bi-" He was cut off by the loud laughter of two girls on the other line. One of them sounded like Blink, the other, it was no doubt, Beau.
"You fell for it again little Bro...awww is pow widdle Jas-" Blink was cut off by Jason's growl.
"In-fer-no! you dim witted-" Jason could feel the air arround his rise in temperature as his anger surpassed all reason. She had tricked him, again.
Blink laughed harder on the other line "Tut Tut little Bro next timeyou might get lucky...in more ways than one, she'll be comming your way you'll just have to wait a bit...this one she's a real beauty an Empath just like Beau 'cept she's-"
Jason was completely annoyed and hung up the phone stuffing it into his pocket angrily. Jason had been standing there for what seemed like years waiting for a cab. Stupid things always seemed to stop for the people arround him. He was about ready to melt the tires on the next cab that passed him when a woman pulled up in front of him. He starred at her for a moment as he took in her words.
Did he want a ride? What kind of idiotic question was that? He had been standing here flailing his arms about like a freak of nature, and she had the nerve to ask him if he wanted a ride. He kept his cool, he was never one to show his emotions so quickly. He was about to accept when he remembered Blink's words. She'll be comming your way in a bit. He gave a small smile, so this was the Empath was she?
He looked her over for a bit then smiled, he had to admit she was good looking in a dark way, the way her eyes seemed to flash gave her away, she was no human. She was no goodie goodie either, he nodded smiling and opened the door.
"Thanks." He sat down looking over the interior of the car. She seemed well off for anyone in this city. He felt like he could simply laugh aloud as he looked over at her. he had finally done it, he had finally beat Blink at her own game. He had found one of the mutants she had been ranting on about.
He looked over at her slowly and gave a charming smile trying to work out what he was going to say to convince her of joining Hexus. He mulled over a few chosen words then spoke in a cheerful yet aloof voice.
"So what about this cure thing...I'm guessing its just some scam to get mutants to come forward, you know, a way to kill them off?"He thought for a long moment wondering if she really was a mutant, he decided to test his the water. "Yeah...I say good ridance."
It was probably one of the stupidest things he had ever said, not including the "do I look fat?" Blink had asked him and his response "in what?" He still had the scars from that one. It was probably a dangerous question as well, knowing Blink and the types of friends she had lying about, he wasnt sure if this one would kill him or blubber over how helpless she was. And taking into the fact that she was the one driving another thought came to mind, how BLink would often threaten him as she drove him to school. He remembered one instance where she was told to drive him to school and he was eating a candy bar and she asked him to 'fork it over'. He denied, at which she swerved so close to a tree that he could have touched it. Scared the Bejesus out of him as BLink went on saying menacingly 'I'm driving I WILL kill us if you dont hand it over! Now fork it over twerp.' He looked over at the woman weighing whether that would be her response.

After she made her innicial, very obvious eye contact when she stopped, she looked away. Her eyes now focus on the road. He hesitated, but he would get in her car, she was sure of it. Although his eyes did scrutinize every inch before he did so. He had a very charming smile, she had to admit. His picture didn't serve him justice.
When he was in the car, she waisted no time in pulling away from the curb. Where he was going wasn't a real matter to her. Before they got there, she would have what she wanted. His demeanor made it obvious he had the same intentions. Perfect. There was that smile again. She smirked, keeping her hands on the wheel. She took in his words, knowing it was all bull shit. He was smooth, testing his waters. Trying to get a reaction out of her. He wouldn't get it, at least not that kind of reaction anyway. Smart boy to figure out what he was dealing with. Even if he wasn't what she was looking for, she would certainly have fun with this one. He was clever, but would he play her game?
She turned her head to face him a bit. Her smirk puling at the sides of her lips. "The cure?" She questioned raising an eyebrow. "Aweful bold sbject to be talking about with someone you don't even know the name of." Her eyes scanned him through her sunglasses before looking back to the road.
"So, what is you name stud?"
SHe already knew the answer, but it would be so much better comming from him. Would he tell the truth, or would he lie? God Mystique loved this! She loved to play these games. This particular one had just begun. He didn't even know who she was, a problem that if he thought to ask, would be fixed.
She took a turn, it was randome and pointless. As would be all of her driving until he gave her a location.
(sorry for shortness, i think something is off tonight. lol*sighs*)

Jason ran his hands through his hair thinking hard. So this one didnt mean to try and them in the car, apparently Blink hadnt gotten to this one as much as she had gotten to Dreamer. He looked over at her his eye catching hers. He smiled slightly, so she wanted to know his name did she? Didnt Blink brain wash her yet?
He gave her a smile, there wasnt anything anyone could do to him now, he had endured Blink what was worse than that? "Its Jason...Nice car by the way."
Compliments were always points, he learned that a long time ago. He smiled slightly as he looked over at her, mulling over what he planned to say to her, asking her her name wasnt the smartest thing in the world. Women were like snakes, when you thought they were dead they'd pop right back up at you and when you thought they were friendly they'd bite you on the ass. He learned from experiance with his old pet Milk Snake. He looked over at her frowning slighlty. Really, he could dance for joy at the moment, finally catching one of Blink's mutants. He smiled slightly as they turned a corner, he hadnt told her where he was going, why she drove without a rumbo was beyond him.
He looked over at her seeing a flash of color change in her skin. He blinked and it was gone, he starred at her for a moment. Was it a trick of the sunlight or had the woman's cheek have a tinge of blue in it? He starred at the spot again but her skin was once again normal, he felt slightly uneasy now. No that he feared anything, he could care less, but the fact of the matter was that Blink was in cahoots with lots of mutants, telepathics, pyrokenetics, and on the rare occation morphers. Those who could transform their whole arm into a chainsaw or something, the thought of it was ironic, just when he found one of Blink's minions she was a power tool. He knew a morpher at the warehouse once, though she couldnt transform into anything but animals, and her eyes were green he thought them cute slightly, but she had escaped before then.
He sat back in his seat now looking out onto the streets a pleasent smile still on his lips. He didnt want to show that he was uneasy he ran his hands through his hair again smiling. "Where are you headed?"
The thought was obvios, where most women were headed. To the Mall or the grocery store. He saw a blue ricket converatble shoot past a flash of pale blonde hair billowing in the wind a dark haired woman driving her dark hair flowing out behind her laughing their heads off at something. He frowned, oh how that woman loved to mock him even when she didnt mean to. But he would get her back one day, mark his words, and it would be good too.

"Thank you...Jason."
She responded. The car wasn't her's but she had owned one similar to it at one point. She seldom took her own vehicle to situations like this. Nymph had done that and look where it had gotten her. It had landed her with Mystique in a car, with her boss. Even if she lacked the knowlege of knowing he was the boss, it was till dangerous.
He had told his true name, or at least the name that matched the information she had been given. Brave move. She'd expected another move. A more intreging question, but to her surprise he had not asked for her name. Interesting...maybe he thought he knew it all ready. She could assure him that he was wrong.
Despite how smooth he was, he seemed uncomftorable, to the normal person, it would have probably been undetectable. However, she was trained to see straight threw such acts. His uncomftorbleness seemed to spike when her skin changed. She was dropping him little hints, little hints that he was choosing to ignore. Instead, he continued to play his cool.
"You wouldn't believe me if i told you..." The grin on her lips could be heard threw her voice. Honestly, he probably wouldn't have. It was just to crazy a thing to say out loud. If anyone was to admitt to it, it would appear they were kidding or being sarcastic. Why is it people never belive the truth, when it seems a trend to look for lies. He was deathly trying to explain the blue on her cheek, yet he would be running from the explanation of as to where she was going and why he wou'dn't belive her. That was, if he dared to ask...
