"It was either you or Oliver, and he and I would end up fighting instead of getting anything done."
Rei commented with a grin. She'd have to give Camine the briefing for the jobs. Rei did a lot of jobs where she had to take people out, or just spy. Either way Rei and Camine worked well together. She trusted Camine mainly for the fact that the woman didn't trust her. Camine was smart, though it could be doubted at times. Everything was good, though. There weren't many others in the house that would even want to work with Rei, but Camine did. It could have been the drugs, though. You never know.
"I expect to see that stuff starting to happen. That's why I'm keeping to myself and making sure that I don't get caught."
Small talk... though, there were double meanings behind many things. Reija knew she hated her jobs, but she had to keep them.
"Oh, the scientists for the cure, they're going all out public soon. When I get the article to edit I've got to set up things with the Brotherhood. Have to keep them busy and distracting so we can do our work, right?"

Yes, Camine and Rei worked well together, but both were good enough on their own to get any job done. However, it was effortless when they were together, they each made up for what the other lacked. You see, Rei kept Camine in line, and Camine was good for the powers. One of her many powers over the elements was that she could manipulate light and make herself, and anyone else invisable, which tended to come in handy because two such beautiful girls were easily noticed.
"Yeah, you and Ollie dear arent exactly the wonder twins..."
She grinned and shook her head. With mention of the Brotherhood she looked down and her grin faided. She looked back up slowly and nodded.
"Yeah... I could be of some use there. I just happen to have a good friend who's one of the key players in the Brotherhood. Manipulating him could come in handy."
She nodded, looking away. John... that kid sure did a number on her. Liek has been said before, Cam only trusted two people, Jason, and John. You see, when John was a little kid, when he was first realizing his powers and his parents tried to 'fix' him, well Camine was there for him when nobdoy else was. She took him under her wing, taught him everything he knows, treated him kind of alike a son. She was sure if it wasnt for him she'd be six feet under by now, believe it or not he clamed her a bit, made her not so wild because she knew if something happened to her he'd have nobody else.

"That's a huge understatement."
Rei said quite frankly with a frown. Oliver and Reija were complete opposites, they barely got along, but they both could cool things down if they worked together. Hell, REija didn't really mind him. It was moreso the other way around. Rei was annoying and bitchy and whatnot, but she was still one of the best. Camine was close to her, though Reia's greatness didn't come from her powers. She could do things easily and she didn't need powers, but Camine's abilities sure were useful, it kept Rei from having to work as hard. Reija planned things easily and she knew more than well enough things about the brotherhood. Hell, Reija was underestimated by quite a bit. She hadn't ever shown her true potential, and she never would again... Snapping from her thoughts, Rei grinned a bit and nodded.
"I knew you had a contact. I do too, one Raven Darkholme. I met her at a hole in the wall cafe the other day; I think If we both work on our contacts we can keep everything going well. We'll need them as the distraction, and we both know they'll be eager."
IT was true. Rei's plan, though JAson and everyone didn't seem to disagree, was to have the brotherhood keep the government off of Hexus' back. HExus didn't need to be noticed, and they weren't going to be as long as Camine and Rei worked well together and kept everything on target. There were a few who would be spared, and Rei knew that well enough. Most mutants could probably withstand the coming iceage, but with Rei's and camine's power it was easy to protect... that was the reason they were there. Ice and water....they come from the same basic element and the two women were the best to deal with it.
