The wind blew softly. Birds chirped away in the oak trees, the word got darker. The sun was now covered by the clouds. Dark clouds that were rolling in. Looking at the flowers as they're systems worked, plants sending out oxygen. The grass swayed in the wind that got stronger by the minute. A storm was rolling in, or was a work of a girl? A woman? A.. Mutant? Maybe...
Storm stared up at the sky, her hands spread about a foot away from her sides as her eyes glowed. Glowed that color that everyone knew she was working her powers. Wind got stronger and stronger. This was an art, science! Her white hair swayed lightly in the wind as it started to get stronger.
A big storm today. What was Storm cooking up this time? The clouds hit together the thunder boomed. The sun hid behind the dark clouds that took over the sky. Moisture air came swooping in. The weather started twisting. Light rain dropped down. The clouds moved fastly away and over the school. Rays from the sun beaned down on the school grounds.
Flowers got their water for a short period of time. Quietly, and taking her time, Storm walked over in to the garden. It was another place she could go and think. It was also a pretty sight of the garden. Again the wind flew soft and steady, making the flowers sway slowly and slightly as they leaned closer to the suns rays.
With a light out wards breath, Storm gazed over the garden of flowers. Purple, blue, red pink, so many colors of flowers. So many colors that were bright and beautiful. Every plant has a story like everyone person has something to share.

"No running in the hallways."
Scott disiplined with a smile as he strolled down the hallway. It was full of children racing to their next class or away to lunch. All of them held a smile that warmed his heart. Inicents, something that many kids lacked these days. That was why Scott supported the institute so much. Young children, especially young mutants needed a place where they could feel free to learn and live in a safe enviroment. The school was a wonderful place, although some of the mutants were troubled. Not Scott, he was happy, he had a carear and the love of his life. Others weren't so lucky.
It was at that moment, he looked outside to see the sun covered by a cloud. He tilted his head almost frowning. The forcasts had called for sunny skies. It could have only meant one thing. Ororo, or as her nickname had become, Storm. All the x-men had their little nicknames. His was Cyclops. It was odd, but fitting. Scott had a wonderful sence of humor, so he found it rather amusing.
He made his way over to exit the hallway. He was heading over to the garden. Ororo sometimes let out her frustrations out by causing small thunder storms. It was her way, they all had them, that was hers. But his was talking, and she was his friend. Nevertheless, he would still have probably gone to see what was wrong with her even if they hadn't been close friends. That was just the kind of person he was.
He steped outside just in time to see the clouds clearing. He looked up to the sky then quickly around the garden. No one else was present. It was such a waist, the day was beautiful, or atleast that was what the forcast had called for.
"It's a nice day out."
He said flatly as he made his way over to her slowly. His hands were resting in his pants pockets and his eyes watching the ground. Nevertheless, that didn't stop his voice and attitutde from being concerned.
"Something on your mind?"
He asked stepped up along side her, giving a currrious, yet carring smile.
(Hope you don't mind, if you do, tell me and I will delete it.)

(Don't mind at all.)
Storm stood in a gaze at the flowers, thoughts twisted around in her mind. Some roping around others, it was like a puzzle, you have to put the puzzle pieces together to salve the puzzle. Not like any small and easy puzzle for little kids, this one was long, hard, mind mending. Hard to figure out, tough, like a knot.
Snapping out of the wild thoughts, she heard Scoot. Hearing his question, she searched for her answer. She had a long answer, but thought to keep it small and short. Ororo shook her head lightly, with a quick blink her blue eyes layed on the sky.
"It's nothing." Storm admitted. Staring up at the sky and smaller clouds float by. Keeping a straight face she looked down to the flowers, thought jumbled back in to her mind. Pushing the thoughts out once again she turned slightly. The wind blew through making a soft noise. A noise like when you breath out a small amount of carbon dioxide.
The chirping from the birds stopped, all was calm and silent. Just as if, everything stopped in it's tracks. Like the world was frozen, nothing was happening. It seemed as after Ororo let out a soft sigh, everything went back to what they were doing. Again the birds chirped, the wind blew, the suns rays beat down on the world.
"It is a nice day,"She turned to him all the way, a weak smile on her face."Care free."Storm added, though it really was a lie. She wasn't much of a lier, didn't tell lies. Changing the subject is what she should have done, but it kept her mind off of other thing that twisted in thoughts.

"It's nothing."
He noded, also looking up to the sky. He did not believe her, they had known eachother long enough for him to recognize when she was acting out of character. Although, if she did not wish to talk about it, he would not push it. It wasn't his way of things. He had learned first hand after dealing with Jean, that pushing was not the way to deal with women. With persuasion, she would come to tell him what was the matter if she wished to.
"It is a nice day,"She turned to him all the way, a weak smile on her face."Care free."
He reverted his eyes back to her, returning her smile and laughing just a bit.
"It's never quite care free around here."
It was true, there was always something afoot or that needed worrying about. But that didn't mean that there was no time for fun or relaxation. The garden was the best place in the entire school to come and relax. Nature surrounded the garden, it was peacful. Something about the light breeze and the warm sunshine could just put even the most troubled of minds at ease. He knew because he had found himself wondering through the garden at odd hours of the night. Times when his mind was so busy, he just couldn't sleep. Now must have been one of those times for Ororo.
"But by all means, take advantage."
His voice trailed off as if he did not know what else to say.

Storm looked back up at the sky."Your right."With a brief pause she continued,"But sometimes it nice to just imagine being care free." Her smiled faded away as she looked at the school. The school stood tall,Somethings are meant to never be spoken of. Ororo let out a light sigh as her blue eyes laded upon the sky once more.
Once again the clouds moved fast in to the west. Clouds getting darker and the sun was hidden behind the clouds that took over the sky. Storms eyes turned lighter with a white tone, the wind got faster and the clouds grew to a darker gray.
Standing still and changing the weather rapidly, not even rain or hail fell. The clouds got lighter, just taking out some emotions was really all she was aiming at. Ororo's eyes went back to normal, blue eyes.
"Needed to get that out of my system."Storm admitted letting out a deep breath. With another light breeze from the wind, Storm calmed a little more by the minute.
(sorry for shortness.. I'm getting really tired and trying not to sleep at my desk with my head on the key board like last Tuesday..)

"Your right." With a brief pause she continued," But sometimes it nice to just imagine being care free."
He noded understandingly. He often found himself imagining such things. Being carefree...normal. But just because you imagine something, that didn't mean it happened. One could imagine evil away, but that didn't mean that when you woke up in the morning it would be gone. Scott had found himself wondering and imagining alot of things. Most of them ever since the day his powers went out of control.... But that was then, and this was now. He had always felt it better not to dwell on the past. Yet, never forget it. As of now he was happy with his place here at the school. He was happy to be there, standing next to storm. Genuinly happy to be offering his help to a friend that appeared to be in need. IF only she would take it. Ororo was strong willed and sometimes, that made her unintenchinaly stubborn.
He watched silently as the sun was consumed by the omnipotent sky once again.Ororo had an amazing gift. And she used it wisely, that was what was important.
"Needed to get that out of my system."
"Just be careful." He said with a smirk. "I hear the kids are making kites this week."
He looked to her with a small grin on his face. She was lucky to have a power such as hers. If he ever 'got things out of his system' with his powers, the aftermath would be horrible. That was one of the many reasons he was always in control. He did what needed to be done. He was the perfect example of a good guy.

"I'm always careful."Storm whispered softly.
Letting out a deep breath Storm searched thought the thoughts in her mind to maybe find a subject to talk about. It was true, she really didn't feel like herself. Something just didn't seem like her. But she just couldn't put her finger on it. Maybe that'll be another thing she can think about later today. But while she pushed that thought to the back of her mind she thought of another thing. With a small shake of her head the thought was gone.
Guess it was obvious that she wasn't being herself lately. She shook her head lightly again. With a small sigh she looked at Scott. Tell him or just keep it to her self? It's better to get it out than to keep it bottled up inside. But she really didn't feel like her self, it showed.
Storm stared back at the sky in a small gaze. It showed, more than ever, she really didn't feel her self, didn't seem herself. Most truly was from all the things on her mind. But there was something else also. What was it? The sun continued to glow brightly.
Ororo smiled smally at the thought of the kids making kites. Another year, another day. How much fun it'd be like before.

"I know."
He said it affectionaly patting her shoulder. The poor girl looked as if there was somthing bothering her. Something she just couldn't place. As if there was something lurking in the back of her mind, hiden away from all to see. Scott sometimes found himself with that feeling. The feeling of having a knot in the pit of youe stomache. The feeling that something was wrong. But Scott was no physic, so he was rarely ever able to figure it out. And to his knowledge, Ororo was no physic either. But she had something that he lacked. The glorious art of feminine intuition.
He glanced to the chairs, deciding to himself that he would not be able to help her until she could place her problem. So he helped in the only way he could. Get her mind off of what was bothering her. If that were even possible, he had no idea, but he had to try.
"So, have you seen the Professor lately?" he asked with a hint of curriousness. He himself had not seen the Professor in a few days. Not that he didn't wish to, it was just that both their schedules had been busy. It seemed that their was never a fitting time to just talk to anyone lately.
He looked to Ororo, wondering of her answer. He was glad that their was time now to just talk to her as old friends. Perhaps it would even help her escape from what was irritating her so. If nothing else, he hoped it would

Storm let out another breath, another reason why she came to maybe try and figure out in thoughts. Where was the Professor lately? No one has even spoke of him recently. As a matter a fact, storm has been all around the school and hasn't seen him either, no where in sight. She thought in a curiously. Where could he be? At work somewhere in the school?
"Good question."She said back is a softer tone than she usually used."I haven't seen him for days. Haven't even heard a word of him."
Staring off in more thoughts she concentrated of the Professor question. Another piece to the puzzle that would, probably, link to the reason. Or not, she couldn't handle all these things on her mind. Why was there so much on her mind? Why can't she figure any of it out? Ororor closed her eyes and let out another deep breath as the wind blew again.
(Sorry for shortness, dealing with a crazy(Seems Drunk, But Not) girl, who is a friend. It's kind of funny)

Scott frowned, not at Ororo, but a the sitation. Sometimes the Professor disapeared days on end. Which was understandable. He was a busy man. However, when he did disapear, it usualy meant that when he came back, that he had news on some sort of problem that needed to be dealt with. Most of the time resulting in a meeting with Magneto. But lately, things had been quite. A rare blessing. He hoped that this absence of evil wouldn't be made up for the next time it struck.
He exhaled before responding statement in its entierty. "Im sure he will turn up," He removed his other hand from his pocket and crossed his arms loosly in front of him before continuing to speak. "and when he does, I'm sure he will have news."
Scott had complete confidence in his statement as he shot her a glance, assuming she gathered what he meant by news. News of a problem or a wrong of another kind that needed to be righted. That was what being an X-man was all about to him, rightening what was wrong. He knew how so few people could change the world so much. It seemed that a grain of sand could effect the entire world, for good or evil. He was intent on being one of those few to change it for the best.

Storm stood completely still,"Of course, somethings just don't change.."She smiled just a little.Calm around here doesn't last to long. It was usually calm, then work and scrambling. But Storm preferred work. But sometimes it was nice to relax, recently she could even sleep. Way to much on her mind. At times she couldn't even get all of it off her mind, forget some of it just for a minute or a day.
It seemed as though nothing could really take her mind of of everything that scrambled in her mind. The only time she could get out some emotions it was outside, or by a window alone. It seemed as though, maybe, something was wrong. but nothing is ever completely right here.
Wounder What It Is Time? If there is such. Storm continued to stare up at the sky in thoughts. Well on the plus side these thoughts weren't as complicating as the others. But having a friend to help a little, if she'd let along side thinking she can handle it herself, was nice as well.

"Of course, somethings just don't change.."
Atleast, he hoped not. Life was almost perfect around here for him. It had its glitches, yes, everything did. But his over all picture was just what he wanted. He had Jean and the world was safe. Atleast for now....
He looked to the inside, he saw on of the younger students dart by the door. They were busy little things. He looked back to her. Scott had been on his way to eat lunch when he had seen her. Which was probably where the student had gone to in such a hurry as well. The cafeteria was sure to be crowded and full of students. What a lovely way to distract ones thoughts, a noisy cafteria full of happy children.
"Ororo," he said smiling to her. "I was on my to cafeteria, would you care to accomany me?"
He gestured to the doors through which he had come.

(It wasn't bad. Mind we go on in a new topic or.. not..?-blinks--titles head-)
Ororo smiled, a smile that wasn't big, but wasn't small, looking over at the kids walking, or running down the halls. With the same smile she looked over at Scott who had spoken. Storm was alittle hungry, she's been thinking for than anything lately. Hardly even eat.
With that smile she nodded,"Sure. If you wouldn't mind." Storm replied back.Maybe that would do everything right for her.
Taking her mind off other thoughts. Maybe taking her mind over to.. happier things, instead of confusion. Usually work, friends, or seeing others happy made her think of happier thoughts. But not really lately. It was as though she didn't notice even anyone around her, unless they had spoken to her.
