"Oh, not really. You just wish I was."
“Actually no I don’t,” he admitted.
And if she thought he was annoyed she was mistaken. And if she thought she knew anything about him then she was plain wrong. But he wasn’t about to stand there and confess his psychological inner workings. That was left to himself and those rare few who he held confidence in. Reija was not one of them. And because of that she got the image he wanted her to see of him. Like the others. End of story. "That's your mistake, you should be."
“Again not worried. Nor do I find the need to care.” He rolled his shoulders into a careless shrug and glanced around the room for a moment thoughtfully. Suddenly he had the feeling that he was forgetting to do something. But what?
"Not really, seeing as I'm only agreeing so I can poke fun at you later."
“You set high expectations,” he replied. “You just assume there’ll be a later.” He shook his head. “I wouldn’t go making future plans concerning yourself and I.”
"Afraid you'd be wrong there, Oli. There are things that get a stir out of me, but those who would try are long gone before they have the chance."
He shrugged. “How does this serve a purpose to me?” "Thanks for the luck, but I don't need it. If I can't find someone I can always use you as my verbal punching back, babe."
“How unfortunate for myself then,” he said through a yawn. “You’re skilled at driving everyone else away. That only leaves me. I have hopes that someday really soon you’ll move on and find another.”
He gave her a smile and turned heading towards the showers.

"Keep lying to yourself."
She was still pushing. She knew he fed them what he wanted them to see, but she had suspicions. Reija wasn't a damned fool or anything of the sort. She was much smarter than that and she knew it. Part of her only wanted to be the person that she was because she had lost so much. Hexus was all she had now and she'd be damned if she wouldn't bug every member of that team. They'd all know she was there. It wasn't just him that she verbally sparred with, though he was the only one she purposefully tried to piss off.
"That's a mistake."
She muttered it more than anything. For someone who was so good at hiding himself, he wasn't good at digging in on others. Reija could probably get away with drowning him in the showers if she wanted to. She'd be in a bit of trouble seeing as they needed him, but she could still do it nonetheless. She had wanted to piss him off and instead it was turning on her. Damn.
"I hate to break it to you, but we're part of a small team and I doubt you're going anywhere and leaving the team alive, Oli."
No one left Hexus. They were such a small group. No one ever left. They'd all be needed and Reija didn't even care if she died. It didn't matter. The woman didn't have anything to live for. Her hatred was what fueled everything. She couldn't wait for the day that was to come... How did her comments, how did she help him? She didn't. It was hard pressed fore Reija to find conversation... then again....wanting such things was a weakness.
"It serves the purpose of warning."
Her comment was a bit darker and when he made the rest of his comment and turned away the showers all came on full blast, pounding against the walls. Reija's control was great. If she wanted to she could probably get him now, but she didn't. She allowed the showers to pound and she watched him for a moment.
"You're not that lucky. Have a nice shower, Oli."
Reija grinned as she allowed the water to spray him while he was clothed. She turned around and grabbed another water bottle and eyed the punching bag. She might need another go after this.

"Keep lying to yourself."
“And just keep on carrying on like you are,” he said fully turning his back on her now. In his mind the conversation was done. She could go on all day and not get a stir out of him. Her words and actions only cemented his opinion of her even farther. As for pissing him off, keep trying if you must. There were only two things that really truly ever pissed Oliver off. Neither of which had trigged his anger yet. "That's a mistake."
“If it is it is one I intend to make,” he glanced back at her lingering near the shower entrance for a moment.
"I hate to break it to you, but we're part of a small team and I doubt you're going anywhere and leaving the team alive, Oli."
“Who said anything about me leaving the team?” he asked cracking up and laughing. “That is far far from my mind.” He shook his head giving her a complacent sigh. "It serves the purpose of warning."
“And I was never one for warnings,” he said turning back to the showers. The water had flicked on already getting his shirt a bit wet. Honestly was that trying to get him upset? "You're not that lucky. Have a nice shower, Oli."
“And we make our own luck sweetheart,” he said pulling off his shirt as he stood in the water. He began undoing the buckle on his belt as he turned away from her a final time.

(I suppose that's the end unless Rei follows him into the shower, which I don't think even she would do....*snick*)

(*snick* I m ean, she could, but if she did he might piss her off to the point where she does try to drown him. I'd say that's the end.... Very interesting RP that was.... Oliver's a very tough cookie, and he actually had Rei getting miffed.)

*grins*
She's unstable, not that hard to upset. Just not willing to admit it. Yeah, I can take the Oliver/Rei thing off of the notes I made on this RP. They're something akin to enemies at times so far as it seems.

-smirks- You can leave it up. Opposites do tend to attract quite frequently.

*snick*
I can just see it, they'd fight all the time.
*yawns*
Opposites do attract and if we both keep playing the characters this way.....
*snick*
They'd be ripping one anothers faces off one moment and going at it the next or something.
Amusing...

-grins- I like trying to piss her off while keeping him unusually calm. I have a friend like that. After a while it becomes a bit unnerving.
